The specifications of N-Tron’s family of hardened Ethernet products set the standards for the definition of “Industrial Ethernet”. The range is designed specifically for industrial, marine, utility and military users requiring high reliability, superior performance and exceptional noise immunity in a hardened enclosure.
N-Tron switches use store-and-forward architecture for applications encompassing:-
- Extended operating temperature ranges;
- High shock & vibration;
- Elevated RFI/EMI.
They are UL Listed and can be used in Class1, Div 2 Hazardous areas. Featuring wide-ranging (10 to 30 VDC redundant power supply inputs the units can be DIN-Rail, panel or rack mounted. They offer both IEEE 802.3 10/100Base TX twisted pair copper and 100BaseFX fiber optic ports.
Models above the entry level 100 series are supplied with N-Tron’s N-View OPC Server Software. This allows switch and port status information to be displayed using popular OPC client HMI software packages.
